A new elephant zone is being built in a Brazilian zoo.  This zoo will want to source African Elephants and the facility is large enough to home an elephant family group. The area had been provisionally designed by the zoo management team and they have asked Elephant-In-Red for their design input.

Previously built and designed by Elephant-In-Red, one of our partner zoos in China has suggested extending their elephant facility to home an additional group of elephants. Elephant-In-Red have been working with the Chinese zoo for many years. They are successfully using non-contact training and the elephant management project is excellent. This zoo bases their mission on conservation and their attention to animal welfare is central.

Elephant-In-Red has a list of zoos in China that would like to take elephant family groups. There would be oversight by Elephant-In-Red on the design, management and welfare plans for each facility.
